I  try to write  only today’s blog in English. This  spring, we set up a team to introduce some attractive places in Okayama Pref. with the participants related to business. Deshalb hoffe ich, dass Ausländer diesen Blog zu sehen.     Today ‘s blog is a visit to Maniwa City in continuation of my last blog. Der heutige Blog ist ein Besuch in MANIWA City in Fortsetzung meines letzten Blogs. After the Soba lunch we walked around the castle town of Katsuyama . The tree is called Daigo cherry Blosom (Daigo Zakura)with 9.2 meters around the base of the tree and 18 meters in height and the estimated age of 1000 years old. The Daigo Zakura was named after the legend that the Emperor Godaigo praised the beauty of the tree on the way to the island of Oki in the late Kamakura period. Der Baum heißt Daigo Kirschblüte (Daigoz Zkura) mit 9,2 Metern um den Sockel des Baumes und 18 Meter in der Höhe und das geschätzte Alter von 1000 Jahre alt. Der Daigo zakura wurde nach der Legende benannt, dass Kaiser Godaigo die Schönheit des Baumes auf dem Weg zur Insel OKI in der späten Kamakura-Zeit lobte.   When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the narrow road that follows there overflows with the visitor’s cars.
